Refund Policy
Last updated July 2026.
Because BrickCapital is a marketplace of individual sellers, most refunds are tied to Buyer Protection claims and the condition of the item you receive.
When you're eligible for a refund
You may be eligible for a refund if your item never arrives, arrives damaged, or is materially not as described. Refund eligibility is assessed through a Buyer Protection claim opened from your order.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear after it's issued.
Returns
Some resolutions require returning the item to the seller. When a return is approved, you'll receive return instructions. Refunds for returned items are issued once the return is confirmed. Return shipping responsibility depends on the reason for the return (item-not-as-described returns are generally paid by the seller).
Partial refunds
Where an item is usable but not exactly as described, a partial refund may be agreed with the seller or determined by our team as a fair resolution.
Non-refundable situations
Refunds are not typically available for buyer's remorse, issues clearly disclosed in the listing, items damaged after delivery, or purchases completed outside BrickCapital checkout.
Seller-initiated refunds
Sellers may issue a refund directly from an order at their discretion — for example, if an item sells out or is found to be damaged before shipping.
