BrickCapital respects intellectual property rights and expects our members to do the same. We respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws.

Reporting infringement

If you believe content on BrickCapital infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes: (1) your signature (physical or electronic) as the rights holder or authorized agent; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the infringing material and its location (URL) on BrickCapital; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

Where to send notices

Send DMCA notices to our copyright agent via our Support page (subject: “DMCA Notice”). Incomplete notices may delay processing.

Our response

When we receive a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and notify the member who posted it. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including your identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, your contact information, and your consent to jurisdiction. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not pursue legal action within the time required by law.
