Buyer Protection — BrickCapital

Every eligible order on BrickCapital is covered by Buyer Protection. If an item doesn't arrive, or arrives significantly different from its listing, you're protected.

What's covered

Buyer Protection applies to purchases paid for through BrickCapital checkout. You're covered if your item never arrives, arrives damaged, or is materially not as described in the listing (wrong set, missing pieces not disclosed, counterfeit, or significantly different condition).

Escrow-held payments

Your payment is held securely and is only released to the seller once delivery is verified and the 72-hour protection window has passed — or sooner, if you confirm the item arrived as described. Opening a claim before the window closes holds the funds while our team reviews it. This gives you time to inspect your item before funds are released.

How to open a claim

To keep the funds held in escrow while we review, open a claim before the 72-hour protection window closes after delivery. If the item never arrives, you have up to 21 days from the expected delivery date. Go to your order, choose “Report a problem,” describe the issue, and add photos where relevant — our team reviews claims promptly, may request more information, and can reverse a payout where warranted. Resolutions can be a full or partial refund, or release of payment to the seller.

Resolutions

Depending on the outcome, a claim may result in a full or partial refund, a return for refund, or release of payment to the seller if the item matches the listing. We aim to resolve most claims within a few business days.

What isn't covered

Buyer Protection does not cover buyer's remorse, issues disclosed clearly in the listing, damage caused after delivery, transactions completed off-platform, or prohibited items. Off-platform payments are never protected — always pay through BrickCapital checkout.
