Our story
BrickCapital started with a familiar problem: buying and selling LEGO online meant piecing together a general marketplace for payments, a forum for community, and a spreadsheet for tracking prices — none of which were built for collectors specifically. We wanted one place that understood the difference between a resealed box and a factory-sealed one, why a retirement date matters as much as a price tag, and why the person selling a UCS Millennium Falcon cares about more than just closing the sale.
So we built BrickCapital: a marketplace with escrow protection and Stripe-verified sellers, a Market Intelligence engine that explains why a set's value is actually moving, and a community where builders can show off what they're working on. It's still early, and we're building it in the open, alongside the collectors who use it.
